Eddie Adams Multimedia

The multimedia presentations from this year's Eddie Adams Workshop are now online. I had the pleasure of working with students Kate Szrom who photographed a young boxer trying to find his way and Brian Powers who photographed a 60-year old hunter. So check out the purple team's work along with the others. Bruce Strong produced the boxer piece; Meredith Birkett produced the hunting one.

  1. Some of the multimedia presentations made me cry, Melissa, such as An interrupted legacy (orange) or 153 beats (yellow). On hive and home (green) impressed me by the courage of the photograph for taking these beautiful black-and-white shots of the bees. And some really scared me in both literally and figuratively way such as Rite to Bear Arms (mint). I found that the personal stories of all the multimedia presenations are illustrated in a deeply moving, emotional way. At least to me this combination of sounds and photography takes a lasting effect.
Thank you very much for sharing the multipedia presentations with your blog readers! :-)
